NHS Awards Ceremony

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital held their 2011 Staff Awards ceremony at Aintree Racecourse this year. The glamorous awards ceremony was attended by over 300 guests and Stagetex were on hand to provide the set, lighting, sound and video projection for the event.

A team of 5 technicians worked throughout the day to build the set and stage and setup and program lighting, sound and video systems.

Daniel East looked after the audio department with Kling & Freitag SW112 and CA1215 as the main speaker system. Two lines of delays were provided by flown Kling & Freitag CA106s ensuring everything could be heard clearly, right to the back of the room. The system was controlled using a Yamaha LS9-16.

The lighting system comprised Chauvet Batten 72s for set wash and “eye-candy” with 6 Robe LED 600 units being used for the awards ceremony stings and the disco afterwards. ETC Source 4 Junior Zoom 25-50s were used for front light and breakups with Chauvet Colorado 1 Tours being deployed as uplighters. Control was Avolites Pearl 2008.
