Playing our part at GEC Liverpool

Earlier this month the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2012, a festival for business, came to Liverpool to celebrate enterprise and inspire people to turn their dreams into reality.

In addition to sponsoring Liverpool Startup Weekend, Stagetex were on hand to provide audio visual support for a number of events that took place throughout the city during the course of the festival.

The first of these was the MEDS Diamond Gala Dinner which took place at EastzEast Restaurant on Liverpool’s Kings Dock. 250 high net worth individuals from the Asian, Arab, Chinese and Afro-Caribbean business community attended the event which was supported by MEDS, Enterprise4All, Liverpool Vision & Liverpool City Council. Stagetex supplied a stage set and starcloth, projection and plasma screens with a live camera feed along with lighting and a sound system for the event.

We were also responsible for looking after the technical requirements of “E-Commerce Entrepreneurship 2.0″ which was hosted at PH Creative’s new offices in Liverpool city centre. The event, in association with Google and The North West Fund, featured presentations from Mike Southon (author of The Beermat Entrepreneur) and Bryan Adams from PH Creative. We supplied a PA system and plasma screens for the event along with technicians to support the presenters during the event.
